These terms apply to everyone who uses jansahayata.com, whether you are looking for a helper or listed as one.
What Jan Sahayata is
Jan Sahayata is a free directory of local service providers in Dindori district, Madhya Pradesh. It helps people find each other. It is not a contractor, an agency, an employer, or a party to any work you arrange through it.
Using the site
Anyone may browse the site. You need an account to see helpers' phone numbers, to list yourself as a helper, or to send a support message. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for what is done through your account.
Listing yourself as a helper
Listing is free and there is no commission on work you get. By applying you confirm that the details you submit are true, that the identity document belongs to you, and that you are entitled to offer the work you list. An administrator reviews every application, and we may decline or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, impersonates someone, or is reported as a problem.
What verification means
The verified badge means an administrator has seen an identity document and confirmed who the person is. It is not a skill assessment, a licence check, a background check, or an endorsement of their work. Do not treat it as one.
Work, prices and payment
Everything about the work itself is agreed directly between you and the helper — scope, timing, price, materials and any guarantee. Jan Sahayata sets no prices, takes no payment, holds no money, and is not a party to that agreement. No payment for any job should be made through this site, and we will never ask you to pay us for a helper's work.
Limits of responsibility
We take reasonable care with the listings we publish, but we do not warrant the quality, safety, punctuality or legality of any work arranged through the site, and we are not responsible for loss or damage arising from it. Satisfy yourself about any person before you engage them, and use the checks suggested on each service page.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape or bulk-collect listings or phone numbers, submit false or someone else's details, use the site to send unsolicited marketing, attempt to bypass access controls, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend accounts that do.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting a listing you allow us to display the public parts of it — name, trades, photo, description, area and contact details — on this site so people can find you. Ask us to remove it and it will be deactivated so it no longer appears publicly.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including individual listings and features, without notice.
Reporting a problem
If a listing is wrong, out of date, or someone is misusing the site, tell us at jansahayatasupport@gmail.com or through the support form. Include enough detail for us to find the listing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and disputes fall to the courts of Madhya Pradesh.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means the revised terms apply.
